You know how things go, starts off gun-ho with all the good intentions, then somewhere, in the not to distance future, all the steam escapes and it turns into a job. Apparently, that is what this blog or Family News has turned out to be. I have all the best intentions, but this keep being put on the back burner. So, here I am on a beautiful Saturday Night struggling to update this page.
That’s the bad news, the good news is that Donna and I are grandparents once again. Shane and Ginger has given us a very pretty little granddaughter. Her name is Addison Kay and she weighted 6 lb. 4 oz. She was born on May 29th. And all this took place before Aiden turned three. Big Brother Aiden, he is taking it all in stride and being the best he can be. But little Addison is chugging right along. Seems to be a good baby, only crying when she gets hungary (like all of us) and when she gets her diaper changed. Everyone is doing just fine. I will put a photo here, but will redirect you to Shane’s website where he has plenty of photos to view. ( http://web.mac.com/patrick.buckland/iWeb/Site/Home.html ) Just Cut & Paste this into your browser and you should get there. I will also put a link to the right where you can just click on it.
That has been the big news since the last update. Chris is still in Detroit and doing OK. He did come in for a visit and we had a good time, it was really good to see him. Donna and I plan to visit him in the near future.
Tammy, Cam and Robbie came up. Robbie went to an Academey at Shepherd U. while Cam stayed with up for a week. Cam studied for, tested and passed his drivers test while here with us. Congratulations Cam!! (poor Tammys and Joeys insurance is going up…boo hoo). It was good to see everyone.
Donna and Carolyn are upstart entrepreneurs, starting a small catering business with a start date of August or September. Good Luck !!
So until next time everyone have a great year, what’s left of it.
